It was standing room only, as PCW peformed in front of the largest crowd they'd ever drawn to Midlothian. But, before the show could get to a proper start, Rion Skillz arrived at the building late. As he was making his way to the back, the Foreign Exchange jumped him and beat him down. Taking him into the ring they put a chair over his wrist, and then, Jean-Paul Basse brought down another chair on top, possibly shattering Rion's wrist. Rik Rockett and PCW officials came out to clear the ring and helped an injured Rion to the back.
The Chicago Connection def. Whiplash, Wally Wilde & The Butcher
Both teams had back-up. The Butcher was accompanied by his mentor, Vito "2 Fingers" Fontaine, while Whip and Wally were accompanied by Wally's ex-partner, Sensational Sasha. Body Count and Jay Phoenix, of course, had PL Myers in their corner. The end of this match came when the Connection used their flag pole to knock out Wally, thus letting them reverse a pinfall.
MIDWEST TITLE Steve Heisman (c) def. Chris Styles w/Jenna Munroe Styles and Heisman put on a technical match, with Styles breaking out a series of suplexes and unique moves that Heisman managed to kick out of. During the match, a bouquet of flowers was delivered to Jenna Munroe, but they had been sent anonymously, to Jenna's frustration. Heisman got the win, when he caught Styles on the top rope and hit a cutter. After the match, Joe Heisman w/December came out and again demanded a match for the Midwest title. Steve declined, even after being slapped in the face several times.
TAG TEAM TITLES The Foreign Exchange (c) def. Mixed Breed Rion Skillz was not medically cleared to wrestle this match, and with Sebastian Broadway in the corner of Uzi Akiva and Jean-Paul Basse, it looked to be a 3 on 1 beating. Still halfway through the match, a heavily-bandaged Rion made his way to Mixed Breed's corner and tagged himself in. The match ended quickly when Basse got Rion's bad hand in an armbar, and Skillz had no choice but to tap out.
As the other members left, Jean-Paul stayed in the ring and continued to celebrate, even when Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake was announced. Brutus came in the ring, garden shears and all, and thanked the Chicago fans for his career. Jean-Paul grabbed the legend's mic and began to run him down, as the fans chanted "Shave that Beard" in response to Basse's ridiculous mutton chops.. Beefcake obliged them by slapping a sleeper on the rude Frenchman, then brought out an electric razor. He not only shaved off the mutton chops but put a cross on Basse's head, before leaving to a standing ovation.
HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE "Hot Bod" Shawn Davis (c) def. "Feature Presentation" Johnny Mac
This was a rematch from two shows ago, when Johnny Mac not only won the belt from the Butcher, but then lost it to Davis. This was also Davis's first title defense as the PCW champion. Early on, "The Pocket Rocket" Eric Marx tried to help Mac, but got punched off the apron for his troubles, and then ejected by referee Lou Tufano. Davis and Mac traded several pinfalls, with Mac even trying his own flying elbow. But eventually Mac fell victim to the real thing and Davis retained his title.
GLADIATOR BOWL WINNER: JAROD PRIEST Highlights of this match included the PCW debuts of Noah Halo and Willhem McCoy, Fuzion eliminating all three members of the Chicago Connection, and the in-ring return of J.T. Simmons. The final three came down to Whiplash, Johnny Mac and Jarod Priest. Priest first eliminated Whiplash, but then got tossed out by Mac. However he held on to the ropes and kept his feet from hitting the floor. Mac turned his back and started celebrating his win, not seeing Priest come back in. Priest then tossed out Mac to earn a shot at the PCW heavyweight title at Dream Night VIII.
After the match, Shawn Davis came out to congratulate Jarod Priest, and that he "had better bring his A-game to Dream Night". The men shook hands, but then, Priest pulled Davis back in and spit a green mist into his face. He then knocked the champion out and got on the mic. Priest ran down the boys in the back for saying that he didn't deserve a push because they didn't like his "look". He then ran down the fans for saying they didn't support him even though he had fought and bled for them. He told an unconcious Davis that Dream Night would be his darkest night, but Priest's brightest day and that he was the monster in this story. The audience was clearly spit with half booing his actions, but the other half applauding his new determination. Regardless, we've seen the birth of a new Jarod Priest.
