PCW returned to action with a near sell-out crowd in Des Plaines, IL.
It was announced that the PCW champion, Johhny Mac had put out on open challenge for the PCW title.
PCW MIDWEST TITLE
Damian(c) def. "Party Animal" Wally Wilde
The two veterans went toe to toe with Damian getting the better of Wally during the match. This brought out "Shawn Davis" to help cheer his tag partner on. This in turn, brought out Shawn's opponent Uzi Akiva. Akiva distracted the ref and through a brass knuckle to Damian who used it to knock out Wilde and get the pin. After the match, Davis brawled with Akiva back to the locker room.
"Big Jack" John Burke/Jarod Priest def. Body Count
The "Classic" Chicago Connection took on Body Count in an extremely physical match. Priest worked the majority of the match, as Daniel Allure and Santana Starks tried to isolate him from his tag partner. Eventually, Burke got the hot tag and flattened Allure, pinning him with the sitdown splash
Johnny Mac came out to make his open challenge, but quickly stated that no one had the guts to accept. Sacrifice ran into the ring and gave Mac a devestating spear, before picking up the mic and accepting the match.
Jay Phoenix def. Brody Lane
Phoenix dominated the rookie in this match. With PL Myers and Whiplash at ringside to brutalize the rookie whenever Phoenix distracted the ref, it was almost a three on one match. Finally, Lane sumbitted after a Phoenix bomb and a broken wing submission hold.
TAG TEAM TITLES
Gridiron Grapplers(c) def. Ares/ Sam Hart
Ares came out and announced Butcher was a no show, so he challenged the Grapplers in a handicap match. Ares ended up dominating Joe and Steve Heissman for the majority. However, Samantha Hart came out and tagged herself into the match as Ares partner. An enraged Ares grabbed Sam and chokeslammed her. This brought out the Butcher, Sam's mentor. Ares left the ring and the two men got in each others face, eventually having to be seperated by security when they started brawling. While this was going on the Grapplers scored a quick pin on Hart, who was still out from Ares assault.
Rick Knight/Whiplash def. Mixed Breed
Mixed Breed put on a very good offense, but the numbers game proved to be in the "new" Chicago Connection's favor. M.B. seemed to have it won after a devestating top rope leg drop/ sidewalk slam combo onto Whiplash, but PL Myers distracted the ref and Rick Knight used Rik Rockett's own chain to knock out Rion Skills and get the 1-2-3.
"Hot Bod" Shawn Davis def. Uzi Akiva
The two high fliers changed game plans and put on a very technical match with Akiva doing everthing he could to destroy Davis's right leg. Eventually, Davis managed to hop up to the top rope and hit a flying elbow drop for the pinfall.
PCW TITLE
"Feature Presentation" Johnny Mac(c) def. Sacrifice
Johnny Mac was on the defensive against one of his Dream Night 6 opponnents in this title match. Sacrifice came close with several near pinfalls, but eventually took out head referee Lou Tufano when Mac ducked a clothesline. This brought out Mac's buddies the Gridiron Grapplers. Steve distracted Sacrifice, while Joe slid Mac his title belt. Sacrifice turned and hit a spear on Mac, but ended up ramming into the title. Johnny Mac then managed to pin his challenger.
